ALAVIS™ Traumagel is a natural preparation containing menthol and Celadrin, a patented substance comprising cetylated esters of myristic acid, myristoleic acid, palmitic acid and other saturated and unsaturated fatty acids enhancing the overall positive effect.

ALAVIS™ Traumagel helps enhance protection against the effect of proinflammatory enzymes and significantly helps suppress pain in muscles, joints and bones.

Active substances contained in ALAVIS™ Traumagel veterinary preparation:

Celadrin™
Celadrin™ is a patented substance that systematically strengthens and moistens cell membranes and provides the cells with youthful smoothness and flexibility. Its composition combines two substances having similar effects. One of them is cetyl derivative. Cetyl compounds have been used by the pharmaceutical industry for many years as detoxifying and disinfecting substances and, as a result, as anti-inflammatory substances. The second component is the mixture of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, in particular the myristic acid, myristoleic acid and palmitic acid. The benefit of this balanced compound not only consists in helping transport cetyl compounds that are poorly soluble in water but also, as the latest research shows, these components have their own protective and physiological effect. They inhibit 5-lipoxygenase, which is an enzyme supporting oxidative and inflammatory processes. This is inflammation that is not only the source of pain, but also of free radicals, which even make the disease condition worse. It may be summarised that the components of the patented Celadrin substance are natural antioxidants, help against inflammation and specifically block the activity of undesirable enzymes.

Menthol
Menthol, a substance contained in peppermint, has a slight locally anaesthetic effect and helps blood flow to the tissues, which is significant when experiencing inflammation and pain. The cooling effect is caused by its ability to chemically initiate the temperature receptors, which brings relief in inflammatory joint, muscle and ligament diseases, both acute and chronic conditions.

Application: Apply ALAVIS™ Traumagel to the affected area as needed once to three times a day, based on the clinical condition.
